FULBECK PARISH COUNCIL
Members of Fulbeck Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Parish Council on Monday 4th September at 7pm at the Village Hall.
There will be a 15 minute public forum between 7 pm and 7.15 pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is requested during this period.
If any member of the public wishes to raise an issue on any agenda item during the meeting, then they should raise their hand and the Chair may, at her discretion, allow them to speak.
County and District Councillor reports will be heard here.
A G E N D A
1. Apologies for absence.
2. Any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism act 2011 and consideration of any dispensation requests.
3. Resolution to approve and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 3rd July 2023.
4. Financial matters:
[a] Financial reports at 30.6.23 and 31.7.23 (previously circulated)
[b] Resolution to ratify payments of: Salary and expenses £196.91; Community cleaner £180.68; BDG grass cutting £184; Election costs £78.30; CHT £120
[c] Melton Building Society mandate finalised.
[d] Discussion and resolution as to whether to allow Chair/Councillors allowances. If allowances are given then a figure is calculated to cover the expenses normally associated with basic duties of being a councillor. Travelling and subsistence are treated separately.

S23/1327 – North View, High Street – extensions, alterations and replacement windows – pending consideration.
S23/1340 – Willow Farm, Brant Road – change of use to Equestrian Riding School – pending consideration.
S23/1413 – Ermine House, High Street – tree works – pending consideration.
Planning applications determined:
S23/0636 – Little Becks barn/machinery store – approved.
S23/0805 – Alpha, Brant Road – extension – approved.
S23/1124 – Land north of South Heath Lane – refused.
Notices of Appeal:
S19/0834 – any update on removal of remaining items on site
S22/0688 – replacement windows at Manor Farm House.
Note responses from architect re pre-planning for Fulbeck Heights at Pottergate Road. Consider preferred form of engagement with the Parish Council “further down the line”?
6. Highways: (Cty Cllr A Maughan)
Update on signage on A17 re presence of deer (Cllr A Maughan).
Consider state of Brant Road and creation of passing places (Cllr Hodcroft).
7. Life on the Verge - update by Cllr Siddans.
8. Noticeboard at Hare & Hounds – awaiting outcome of funding application (end September).
9. Emergency Response Plan – update Cllr Hutchinson.
10. Resolution as to whether to have Councillors profiles on website. Further resolution as to whether to put Cllr Hutchinson’s “Parish Council information document” on website.
11. Correspondence – none to hand.
12. Date of next meeting: 6th November 2023.
13. Resolution to go into closed session to discuss matters of a confidential nature, if required.
